At Mountain Dog Coffee Farm, our journey began in the technology sector on the mainland, where we honed our skills and developed a passion for innovation--which meant a whole lot of coffee consumed. After years of working in the corporate environment, we yearned for a change, this eventually led us to moving to the big island and purchaing a coffee farm.  When we stumbled upon the farm, planted with the  Kona Typica trees that the area is best known for, we saw an opportunity to create something special. Inspired by our love for coffee and innovation, we’ve since started evaluating other species of  trees that produce exceptional coffee and have partnered with local experts to enhance our growing practices and production methods. By working to incorporate the latest research and conservation practices, we are committed to sustainability and ensuring that our farm thrives for generations to come.
